The SKILL-UP ARTISANS (SUPA) PROGRAM is a transformative initiative by the Federal Government in partnership with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF). This program aims to improve the quality of service delivery by training, certifying, and licensing artisans, with a focus on promoting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In the poultry farming trade area, CEDAR has been approved to implement the first phase of this initiative. As part of this effort, 8 trainees were posted to CEDAR to participate in the program, which runs for two months from August to October 2024.
The program seeks to equip these trainees with the skills necessary to succeed in the poultry farming sector, aligning with the broader objective of enhancing the professionalism and capabilities of artisans across various industries.
Through this initiative, CEDAR is helping to foster a skilled workforce, contributing to the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Nigeria.
