About us

WHO WE ARE

The idea for the establishment of the Centre was developed out of the field experiences of the founder, Olusade Taiwo (PhD), a female development policy researcher. Her idea was further validated in September 1996 during a Brainstorming Seminar on Sustainable Livelihoods, when the views of critical stakeholders were sought and the Centre was formally launched. The stakeholders, some of who are now deceased continued to be Advisors to the Centre for a number of years.
